Strolling [Karel | Open] « Thread Started on Aug 31, 2009, 7:04pm »
[OOC: This will take place before Cylisa visits Gaara and causes trouble. ]
White wolf strolled down the hallway confidently. To the human eye she looked like a massive dog patrolling her territory happily, and indeed that was partly what she was doing. She would pass cells of Nephilim and look in on them all. Most looked to her as fading souls, not starving away, but dying from the inside.
Maybe Cylisa will take the humans and put them in the cells and watch them fade away, then see who feels horrid. She would give them food and water. Cheap, pasty food and metallic water. She would lock them away and force them to forget what sunlight was like, how wind moved your hair, how warm the Earth could be when all you felt was cold metal bars.
The white wolf pointedly ignored all humans and human offices she passed. She passed a few she knew, but then she reached Giovanni's room. She stopped, sat, and waited patiently outside his door.
The man sighed, shuffling the papers his eyes had been straining to read, before filing them away inside a drawer. Why had he agreed to this? He should have just handed this whole establishment over to someone else, rather than get involved in this whole mess. Now he was practically a military leader. Their relationship with the Nephilim could hardly be described as 'civil', and the holding bay? It was just like a camp for prisoners of war. The world outside; what would they think if they knew what went on at this secluded island?
Giovanni pushed the thoughts away from him, there was no point dwelling on such things right now, and stood up. A walk would be good. Perhaps he could even pretend to forget what was currently troubling him.
The man made his way outside, pausing at the sight of the large white dog sitting patiently outside his room. "What, you still hanging 'round here?" He spoke, as if expecting some kind of answer.
He didn't think much would surprise him at this point.
Cylisa no longer cared, she even suspected Giovanni of knowing that she was not a normal wolf. No normal wolf would either live on an island nor be so complacent within doors. "Come now Gio, why would I leave? I'm warm, I hate it, I have access outside, which tempts the hell out of me, I have a lover here, whom I'm sure you know, and I get food, not that it tastes any good. What more could I ever want?" Her tone was obviously sarcastic and was directed to Karel's head, not actually spoken aloud.
The white wolf looked up at Giovanni with large green eyes, not piteously, but as a level stare as something equal to one another. "Shall we stroll?" Cylisa asked, standing and wagging her tail as though she were a happy dog with her master and actually about to go for a simple walk.
